Our music timeline has run the gammit from the Gramaphone followed by the radio to the record player for records and albums; tape recorder and tapes; music and music video programs on tv; cds and dvds; Mtv; mp3 and mp4 players; computer and laptop; smartphone and tab. Which electronic device are you more inclined to listen to your music with? Since most people are multi-tasking, the smartphone is used as a primary mode of audio. Even in cars, people connect their iphone or similar, as opposed to only using built-in radio, to listen to music. Do you think radios will soon become obsolete? Probably, but as times change, something surely will kill the smartphone as well.
